Multi-tenant website builder for UK tradespeople, from postcode to live site in minutes.
What it is
A website builder built specifically for UK tradespeople, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, that sort of trade. Enter a business name and postcode, get a working preview before you’ve paid for anything, then a proper site with AI-written content, real photos and local details already filled in.
Why it exists
Most site builders assume the person setting one up has time to fight with a drag-and-drop editor. Tradespeople don’t. Page skips the blank canvas entirely: give it the basics and it generates a finished site, populated and ready, that the owner can tweak rather than build from scratch.
What the work looks like
- Onboarding that shows a live preview before asking for payment, built from just a business name and postcode using postcodes.io for local data
- AI-generated site copy via Gemini, paired with Pexels for imagery, so a new site never launches with placeholder lorem ipsum
- Google Business Profile OAuth and Checkatrade review scraping, pulling in real reputation data instead of asking tradespeople to write their own testimonials
- An SMS add-on (Twilio) for customer notifications, with rate limiting so it can’t be abused as a free texting service
- Two pricing tiers, Standard and Pro, priced after actually checking what competitors charge rather than guessing
Technical decisions
- Laravel 12, PostgreSQL and Tailwind, the standard stack, because there’s no reason to reinvent tooling for a job like this
- Redis caching with tenant-aware cache busting, since every tradesperson’s site needs to update independently without stepping on anyone else’s
- Domain handling built with chargeback risk in mind from the start, not bolted on after a problem
- Regular Cursor-driven audits of the codebase to keep things tidy as features get added
Status
Live, with pricing settled and the core product built. Go-to-market is being narrowed to landscapers first as a single vertical to prove out, rather than marketing to every trade at once.
